Tim Bredemeier

My name is Tim Bredemeier.  I like to create art because it is something I enjoy and a time of serenity where you can make whatever you feel.  I think art is intended to be an outlet for emotions. Music is my main source of inspiration. It reflects people’s emotions which is what I hope to do with my art.  I hope that my art inspires others to create art and is something that can be enjoyed by all people. I think my work reflects me because it can be goofy or serious, much like me.  I most enjoy representing people in my art because I most enjoy interacting with humans. In the future I hope to keep art as a pastime. I think art is a great way to relax after a long day and reflect on yourself as a person and what your purpose is.  Art comes in many forms. The art I most enjoy creating is digital art and music. With both you can express how you’re feeling. In music emotions are expressed through lyrics. In digital art you can express emotions through facial expressions and color schemes.  An artist who inspires me is Brandon Stanton. Brandon goes around New York photographing people ho he sees on the streets. With these photos Brandon hopes to capture people’s emotions through their facial expressions. I really enjoy his work because I hope to accomplish the same goals with my art.  Brandon’s art inspires me and I hope that I can also inspire others to create art with a similar purpose.
